The D&D Next playtest and all that...

But you're right. People are content with what they've got... The only thing, I would think, that might tear people away from a different edition/system could be if they stopped making new material for it and it got boring... :/ I guess I'm glad I'm on team Pathfinder in that respect. From reading forums of other playtesters, I get the idea that they also lack confidence in the direction Next is running in. Generally, the older edition folks seem to view the kind of hodge podge of older editions with the thought "I understand that you have 'feature x' that I like from my edition, but you don't have much holding it together, and, you know what, I already like my edition, so I'm not really sure what is bringing me to this new one."Kevin LoadedDicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14478910254242968200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6230959922323797545.post-83377799151199433122013-04-03T09:18:42.639-04:002013-04-03T09:18:42.639-04:00I disagree that it sounds complicated... it sounds...I disagree that it sounds complicated... it sounds insultingly dumbed-down and simple to me...

At PAX, did you guys gather any impressions from the 3.5/Pathfinder enthusiasts, regarding 5e? Not that I don't take your 4e-loving opinions seriously, Kevin... *cough* ;)

Love the post actually. And all of you.
